Important Exam Information
EMC Proven Professional certification validates experience, education and study. We offer extensive training and other learning materials to prepare you for your certification exam. All EMC Proven Professional exams are aligned with our training, which is often available in both lecture led and self paced formats.

Associate Level Program
The Information Storage and Management Exam (E20-001) is the preferred exam to achieve Associate level certification for the Storage Administrator, Technology Architect, Implementation Engineer, and Platform Engineer tracks.
The NEW Cloud Infrastructure and Services Exam (E20-002) is now available. This exam focuses on infrastructure, service management, security, and migration strategy for Cloud computing. It includes the Virtualized Data Center building blocks – Virtual Compute, Storage, Network, Desktop, and Application – along with details on Classic Data Center environment. A limited number of questions refer to product examples that are used in the training to reinforce the knowledge of technologies and concepts.
The NEW Data Science and Big Data Analytics Exam (E20-007) is now available. This exam focuses on the practice of data analytics, the role of the Data Scientist, the main phases of the Data Analytics Lifecycle, analyzing and exploring data with R, statistics for model building and evaluation, the theory and methods of advanced analytics and statistical modeling, the technology and tools that can be used for advanced analytics, operationalizing an analytics project, and data visualization techniques. Successful candidates will achieve the EMC Proven Professional – Data Science Associate credential.

Cloud Architect Expert Exams
The NEW IT-as-a-Service Expert Exam for Cloud Architects (E20-918) is now available. This exam is a qualifying exam for the EMC IT-as-a-Service Planning and Design Expert for the Cloud Architects track. This exam focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to design cloud-based IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) solutions. It includes business, organizational, governance, technology and service management aspects from a design-centric perspective.

Storage Administrator Specialist Exams
The NEW Symmetrix Solutions Expert Exam for Storage Administrators (E20-814) will be available on April 27, 2012. This expert exam assesses the knowledge and skills required to design, size and configure highly available and automated EMC Symmetrix-based solutions in heterogeneous open system environments; including SRDF/Star and integration with Oracle, Exchange and SQL Server applications for point-in-time recoverability. The track also focuses on best practices associated with integrating EMC Symmetrix VMAX storage systems with VMware vSphere vCenter and ESXi 5.0.
Storage Administrator Expert Exams
The NEW VNX Solutions Expert Exam for Storage Administrators (E20-888) is now available. This exam is a qualifying exam for the VNX Storage Administrator Expert track. This exam focuses on VNX Unified performance as well as VNX Unified replication technologies (Replicator or MirrorView). Additional focus is on integration of VNX with other key technologies: VMware, Oracle, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Technology Architect Specialist Exams
The EMC Commercial Storage and Information Infrastructure Exam for Technology Architects (E20-501) will retire on April 26, 2012.
Technology Architect Expert Exams
The Symmetrix Solutions Expert Exam for Technology Architects (E20-816) will be updated on May 11, 2012.
The NEW VNX Solutions Expert Exam for Technology Architects (E20-880) is now available. This exam is a qualifying exam for the VNX Technology Architect Expert track. This exam focuses on VNX Unified performance. Additional focus is on integration of VNX with other key technologies: VMware, Oracle, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.

The Symmetrix Solutions Expert Exam for Implementation Engineers (E20-818) will be updated on April 27, 2012.
