Minneapolis, Minn., February 28, 2000 — VUE, the electronic testing service of NCS Pearson, announced today that it has contracted with Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. to be the sole delivery provider of Check Point certification exams. Check Point currently delivers its suite of exams in 240 in-house locations. Beginning in the first quarter of 2001, Check Point will offer its certification exams using VUE’s high stakes delivery software, through VUE’s global network of more than 2,500 authorized testing centers.
Check Point develops, markets and supports Internet security solutions for enterprise networks and service providers including Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and firewalls. Check Point’s product offerings also include secure quality of service (QoS) and IP address management. Recently, Check Point Technologies was added to the Nasdaq 100.
