BLOOMINGTON, Minn., April 5, 2004 — Pearson VUE, the electronic testing business of Pearson Education, today announced that it has signed a three-year contract with Adobe Systems Incorporated to provide computer-based test delivery of Adobe certification exams. These tests are now available in the Pearson VUE network of over 3,500 Pearson VUE™ Authorized Centers around the world.
Headquartered in San Jose, California, Adobe has become one of the world’s largest software companies. Its certification programs include the Adobe Certified Expert and the Adobe Certified Instructor programs. An Adobe Certified Expert is someone who has demonstrated proficiency with one or more Adobe software products. In order to qualify for the Adobe Certified Instructor program, an individual must be certified as an ACE and demonstrate skill at providing instruction or training to others on the use of Adobe products.
“Pearson VUE’s expansive test center network will extend our reach,” said Bill McCulloch, Adobe Training and Certification Programs manager. “Having Pearson as both a test provider and official publisher allows us to more tightly integrate testing with Adobe Press products.”
