Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments® (AEPA®)

The Arizona Department of Education contracted with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson for the development, administration, and scoring of the Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessment® (AEPA®). The purpose of the AEPA® program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Arizona have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Arizona public schools.

Test Registration & Scheduling Information

Registration

To take a test, you must first complete the registration and payment process at the AEPA program website: www.aepa.nesinc.com

Scheduling

Once you have registered to take a test, you may schedule your test appointment online 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Test appointments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To schedule a test appointment, log in to your AEPA account and select “schedule” on the current registrations page for the test you wish to schedule: www.aepa.nesinc.com

After you schedule your test appointment, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.

Rescheduling or Canceling a Test

To reschedule or cancel a test appointment, log in to your account at the AEPA program website and follow the instructions provided on the current registrations page: www.aepa.nesinc.com
