The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Pilot Study
Dear Doctor
The AoMRC is launching a study designed to improve selection into Specialty Training posts. To do this, we need your help in designing a system that’s fairer and more efficient, one which offers consistency and clarity to all applicants across a range of specialties.
We’d like you to help us pilot a new Clinical Problem Solving / Situational Judgement Test this year that could eventually be used at selection. Come and try the test, see how you do and give us feedback on whether you think this could be a useful way of helping shortlisting. Participating will not affect your application, but it will help us to develop and deliver better selection methods for the future. It might also provide useful experience for you.
Thank you.
