Answering Items > Answering Essay Items
For some questions, you must type a paragraph answer using your keyboard. The top panel contains instructions on what should be written. Type your answer in the bottom panel. A row of buttons is displayed between the two panels. These tools are available to assist you as you type your response.
Cut – Removes highlighted text from the answer area and places it on the clipboard.
Copy – Copies highlighted text from the answer area and places it on the clipboard.
Paste – Inserts the text from the clipboard into the answer area. This command is available only if text was cut or copied onto the clipboard.
Undo – Reverses the last action performed.
Redo – Restores the previous state.
Once you’ve completed typing your response, click the Next button to move to the next question.
