6–12 Computer-Based Pilot Tests
The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is seeking current educator preparation students and recently certified educators in the fields of Computer Science K–12 and/or Technology Education 6–12 to participate in pilot tests of multiple-choice questions developed for future Computer Science K–12 and Technology Education 6–12 exams. Pilot test participants will receive compensation upon verification of participation.
Advantages of Participating
You will have the opportunity to view and respond to test items that may appear on future versions of Computer Science K–12 and/or Technology Education 6–12 exams. Participants who register for and satisfactorily complete a pilot test will receive $50 in the form of a check, mailed to the address you provided. You will receive your compensation upon verification of participation. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
Each pilot test consists of approximately 80 multiple-choice questions and is administered during a 2.5 hour testing session. Eligible candidates can register for up to two pilot tests per field. The second registration can only be scheduled after the first pilot test session is completed (consecutive pilot test appointments are not available).
Pilot testing for these fields begins August 15, 2013. You may schedule a pilot test appointment starting August 8, 2013.
After you schedule a pilot test appointment, Pearson VUE will send you a confirmation listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of your test center, and directions to the test center.
If you are unable to keep a field test appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled test time.
