Computer-based Pilot Test

The Florida Department of Education and the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson are seeking current and recent (within the past two years) Florida-based educational leadership candidates to participate in a pilot test of written performance assignments developed for the Florida Educational Leadership Examination (FELE).  Pilot test participants will receive compensation upon verification of participation.

Advantages of Participating

You will have the opportunity to view and respond to test items that may appear on future versions of the Florida Educational Leadership Examination (FELE).  Participants who register for and complete the pilot test will receive $75 in the form of a check, mailed to the address you provided. You will receive your compensation upon verification of satisfactory participation. You will be required to complete a W-9 form prior to receiving compensation and are responsible for any applicable taxes. Please allow up to 6 weeks for processing.

Test Information 

The Florida Educational Leadership Examination (FELE) pilot test includes multiple writing assignments.  All pilot test sessions are approximately 2.5 hours long.

Scheduling Information

FELE pilot testing begins January 17, 2014. Eligible candidates can register for up to two (2) pilot test sessions for this pilot test.  The second registration can only be scheduled after the first pilot test session is completed (consecutive pilot test appointments are not available).  You may schedule a pilot test appointment starting January 10, 2014. 

After you schedule a pilot test appointment, Pearson VUE will send you a confirmation listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of your test center, and directions to the test center.
