In addition to validating your IT skills and networking training, Cisco Career Certifications are a must for certain IT positions. As stated in the DoD Directive 8570.01-M (section C3.2.4.8.3), Service members with privileged access must obtain appropriate computing environment (CE) certification for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices they support as required by their employing organization.
