Formed in 1928, the North Carolina American Water Works Association and the North Carolina Water Environment Association (NC AWWA-WEA) now NC One Water is a volunteer association operating jointly under one Board of Trustees as a Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and a Member Association (MA) of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). The NC AWWA-WEA is dedicated to providing water and wastewater education, training, and service in an effort to protect public health and the environment.

In addition to offering training for various state mandated certifications, we offer voluntary certification & certificate trainings for Meter Technician, Wastewater Lab Analyst and Maintenance Technologist. Scheduling

First-time test takers must create a Pearson VUE web account. Appointments may be made up to one business day in advance.

After you schedule your test, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation letter listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.
