Due to Winter Storm Helena impacting south, southeast and southern New England states in the U.S., we are experiencing high volumes of site closures. We are working diligently to contact all affected candidates by email and phone. If you have questions about your appointment, please contact customer service. We appreciate your patience.

OMG–Certified UML Professional 2 (OCUP 2)
Update 7, Posted 12 September 2016: OMG’s OCUP Certification Program is being updated to test candidates’ knowledge and skills in the use of UML 2.5 (or 2.5x) in software modeling. The second examination, named Intermediate and listed under Pearson VUE exam code OMG-OCUP2-INT200, was published on 12 September 2016 simultaneous with the withdrawal of the original OCUP Intermediate exam OMG-OCUP-200. The updated exam consists of all new material; candidates must study using the new Coverage Map posted at www.omg.org/ocup-2/coveragemap-intermed.htm and not use study material written for the original exam, which no longer corresponds.
Anyone who took the original OCUP Intermediate exam since publication of the first updated OCUP 2 exam in early 2014 can request a voucher from OMG to take the OCUP 2 Intermediate exam for free during its first year of availability by filling in the form at www.omg.org/ocup-2/discount-voucher-form.htm. For information about the new program including voucher requests, and the coverage map and the reference list to study for the updated Foundation and Intermediate OCUP 2 exams, see www.omg.org/ocup-2, www.omg.org/ocup-2/exam-info.htm, and www.omg.org/ocup-2/faqs.htm#PROGRAM-5.
OMG-Certified Expert in BPM 2 (OCEB 2)
This certification concentrates on OMG’s BPM domain specifications (BPMN 2, BMM, and BPMM) but extends beyond to test knowledge and skills in the broader domain of Business Process Management and relevant GRC frameworks. Divided into a Business Track and a Technical Track above a common Fundamental level, the five OCEB and OCEB 2 certifications cover material important to a candidate’s ability to participate in or lead real-world initiatives in enterprise BPM.
Update notice #3 - 14 November 2014: This program is currently being updated to test OMG’s updated release of its modeling language, BPMN 2. Currently, both the Fundamental exam and the Business Intermediate exam have been replaced by their OCEB 2 versions. (The original versions of both of these exams have been withdrawn. The Technical Intermediate exam will be replaced about mid-2015.) Candidates who have already taken the original Business Intermediate exam may request a discount (calculated on a sliding scale) for the updated exam. Details about OCEB 2 certification, including both general program information and upgrade-specific aspects, are given on OMG’s website at www.omg.org/oceb-2 and www.omg.org/oceb-2/faqs.htm.
OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP)
Concentrating on OMG’s Systems Modeling language (SysML), OCSMP coverage extends to aspects of model-based systems engineering (MBSE). The first level, Model User, covers the knowledge and skills needed by stakeholders, specialists, or others who contribute to a model-based engineering project. Building on this foundation are three levels targeted at Model Builders, and team and department leaders.
OMG-Certified Real-time and Embedded Systems Specialist (OCRES)
Awarded at the Intermediate and Advanced levels, the OCRES Certification demonstrates candidates’ knowledge of OMG’s suite of specifications that form the basis for distributed Real-time and Embedded computing. (The OCUP Fundamental Certification also serves as the Fundamental level for OCRES.)
OCUP 2: Your preparation should take into account that the OCUP 2 examinations test UML modeling knowledge and skills in addition to language syntax - The studying that prepared you for the original OCUP Fundamental exam is not sufficient for OCUP 2 Foundation. As indicated above, the coverage map and reference list for the Foundation exam, along with suggestions for study, can be found at www.omg.org/ocup-2 and www.omg.org/ocup-2/faqs.htm#PROGRAM-5.
OCEB 2: This certification program is migrating from OCEB (which certifies the now-obsolete BPMN 1.x) to OCEB 2 (certifying the current BPMN 2). Currently, the Fundamental level has made the move (and appears on the exam list as OMG-OCEB2-FUND100); the two Intermediate level exams will follow in early 2014.
