Oncology Nursing Certification Testing

The mission of the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) is to promote and provide oncology nursing certification for the enhancement of patient care and professional practice. The vision of ONCC is that oncology care across the continuum will be provided by certified oncology professionals.

Test Preparation

Authorization to Test

ONCC offers computer based OCN®, CPON®,CBCN, AOCNP®, and AOCNS® certification tests. In order to schedule a testing appointment you must have applied for and received an Authorization to Test. Candidates with a valid email address will be sent the Authorization to Test from Pearson VUE (PVAmericasCustomerService@pearson.com); the subject line will indicate “ONCC Authorization to Test.” All other candidates will be sent the Authorization to Test via regular mail.

Computer-Based Practice Tests

ONCC offers computer-based practice tests for each of its examinations. One free practice test is available for each examination and additional practice tests available for purchase.

Scheduling Information

Appointments may be made in advance or on the day you wish to test, subject to availability. Pearson VUE offers a variety of scheduling options—
