Oregon Educator Licensure Assessments® (ORELA®)

The Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) has contracted with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson for the development, administration, and scoring of the Oregon Educator Licensure Assessments® (ORELA®). The ORELA program consists of educator licensure tests designed to measure a candidate’s knowledge and skills in relation to applicable Oregon standards.

Registration and Scheduling

In order to schedule a test, you must first complete the registration and payment process at the ORELA program Website:

Then, follow the instructions on that site to schedule your test. You may schedule your test online 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Test appointments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have already registered for a test and need to schedule your testing appointment, log in to your account at the site noted above and follow the instructions to schedule your appointment.

After you schedule your test, Pearson VUE will send you a confirmation e-mail listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.

Rescheduling or Canceling a Test
