Well-versed in industry laws and standards, the content development team builds item banks to their most robust, and focuses on the knowledge base that distinguishes an entry-level candidate from one who is not prepared to enter the field. Good content is the essential component of a good test, and Pearson VUE’s content development team is superior in creating and maintaining large scale content item banks.

The publishing team focuses on quality control and technical implementation. This team will make certain that your program will be implemented correctly, from registration through reporting. Members of the publishing team have experience in quality control procedures, scoring, scripting, and database technology. This team will perform several quality control checks on each test before publication. Given the publishing team’s detailed knowledge of the testing business and Pearson VUE’s software systems, clients are assured of data integrity.

Measurement Services

The measurement services team includes psychometricians with advanced degrees in the science of measurement. They analyze test data, equate test forms, identify problem items, and conduct item pool reviews and gap analyses. These measurement professionals review performance statistics for every item and make recommendations for examination improvement, ensuring that the range of item difficulty is appropriate and that problem items are identified for review.
