Texas Medical Board
The mission of the Texas Medical Board is to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare by establishing and maintaining standards of excellence used in regulating the practice of medicine and ensuring quality health care for the citizens of Texas through licensure, discipline, and education.
Physician Assistants and Acupuncturists needing to complete their examination as part of their Texas Medical Board licensure must have already done the following prior to scheduling:
- Applied to take the examination through the Texas Medical Board;
- Fulfilled any pre–examination qualifications, and
- Been notified of your eligibility to sit for the examination by the Texas Medical Board.
