As Pearson VUE makes changes to our Nurse Aide business we recognize there are questions our various stakeholders may have about these changes. Please click on the link below to find information and contact details if you have questions.
Effective January 1, 2016, score reports WILL NOT be handed out at the Nurse Aide test sites. To receive scores promptly, candidates must bring a stamped, self-addressed envelope with them to the test site and give it to the evaluator at check-in.

Special Exam Requests and Services
Pearson VUE certifies that it complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.). If you have a disability, you may request special arrangements for testing when you apply. All requests must be approved in advance by the Virginia Board of Nursing. Be sure to explain the specific type of help you need and enclose proof of the need (diagnosed disability) from your health care provider. Registered Nurse Evaluators administering the Skills Evaluation will be prepared to meet the needs of nurse aide candidates who have disabling conditions. For specific requirements on requesting accommodations for testing, please contact xthe Virginia Board of Nursing at (804) 367-4569 and request guidance document 90-22.
