Pre-registration will open on June 26 and go until August 30, 2009. The pre-registration fee for the VCP exams is $85 USD. Candidates who register on-site will have a VCP exam fee of $105 USD.

If you do not already have a Pearson VUE username and password, you will need to create a web account before continuing.

To register for the Vmware Enterprise Administration exam candidates are required to contact VMware directly.

Please note: The VCP411 Beta exam will not be available at VMworld.

On-Site Registration

To register on-site at the conference, please stop by the Pearson VUE Test Center. You can register to take your exams the same day (as space allows).

Tuesday, September 1 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 2 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Become a VMware Certified Professional

Become a VMware Certified Professional on VMware Infrastructure 3 (VCP3)

Before taking your certification exam, you must participate in a VMware authorized course that is instructor-led to learn best practices and gain hands-on experience. If you are a current VCP, there are no course prerequisites.

Become a VMware Certified Professional on vSphere™ 4

With the launch of vSphere™ 4, a new certification will be available. The VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on vSphere™ 4 beta exam will be available July 6th, 2009. Candidates eligible for the beta exam will automatically be contacted by VMware. These candidates will be VCP3 certified and have beta tested the product. The VCP on vSphere4 (VCP4) certification exam will be publicly available on August 8th, 2009. For more information please visit www.vmware.com/certification.
