ACSM Certification Testing

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) credentialing is the most respected in the health and fitness industry. Viewed as the best measure of competence of sports medicine and health and fitness professionals, it requires the highest level of knowledge and skills and establishes the standard for all other certifications. Other programs have used ACSM certification as a model, but none have achieved ACSM’s high standards.

Browse the ACSM certification options below or select a registration method to get started right away. New online visitors will have to create an account with Pearson VUE before registering. Appointments may be made in advance or on the day you wish to test, subject to availability.

The name change and acronym have been made throughout the examinations. If you have an appointment scheduled using the Health Fitness Specialist or Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist, you don’t need to reschedule as the correct examination will be given to you at the test center.
