AFP Certification Testing
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), sets the standard in the financial profession and is a symbol of excellence in treasury. Earning the CTP certification definitively communicates that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and application skills required to perform in today’s complex corporate financial environment. Beyond demonstrating a high standard of professionalism, earning the CTP creates more opportunities for career advancement, achieves industry-wide employer and peer recognition, and proves a commitment to performance.
As part of AFP’s evolution in responding to the growing globalization of the treasury profession, AFP is now offering an expanded certification, CTP with Mastery of Canadian Treasury Management. This certification reflects the holder’s knowledge of Canadian and U.S. financial systems and cross-border treasury operations. Those already holding a CTP may take the Canadian CTP Module exam and earn the expanded CTP with Mastery in Canadian Treasury Management.
Certification Application
Before scheduling an examination appointment, you must have already:
- Completed the Examination Application and Eligibility Form by the deadline set by AFP;
- Paid an examination authorization fee to AFP;
- Been notified of your eligibility to sit for the examination and received your Authorization to Test (ATT) letter.
After you receive your ATT, be sure to check the name on the letter carefully. Your name must match the forms of identification that are accepted by the test center. If the name information is incorrect, please contact the AFP Certification Department at 301-907-2862.
