Applied Investment & Finance Analyst (AIFA) Certification Exam

The Applied Investment & Finance Analyst (AIFA) certification exams and training courses are designed to enhance the analytical and practical skills of financial practitioners and students. There are five subjects in the AIFA program: Valuation Modeling, Corporate Credit Analysis, Sector Analysis Fundamentals, M&A and PE, and Fixed Income.

These training courses provide specialized modeling techniques and solution strategies for financial analysis. Candidates will be trained in the use of internationally recognized modeling tools for financial analysis, such as: financial projection, valuation, M&A, bond pricing, credit risk analysis, cash flow projection, and sector analysis fundamentals for about 40 major sectors.

Pearson VUE currently provides English and Chinese language exam services globally for Valuation Fundamentals. Valuation Fundamentals and Modeling are the two sections in the Valuation Modeling exam.

Exam Registration Process

Before scheduling an exam appointment, you must:

  1. Accurately and thoroughly complete the Exam Application on the AIFA website (www.aifa.org.cn) or Chainshine Financial Training website (www.chainshine.com);
  2. Be notified via email of your eligibility to sit for the exam;
  3. Understand exam procedures and Nondisclosure Agreement; and
  4. Pay the exam fees.

Nondisclosure Agreement

You will be required to agree to the Nondisclosure Agreement that is presented at the beginning of your exam. Failure to read and accept the agreement within the allotted 5 minutes will terminate the exam and result in the forfeiture of exam fees. Please take a moment to review the agreement below so that you are familiar with it when you sit for your exam.
