Founded in 1971, ALA provides support to professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments and government legal agencies. CLM certification demonstrates you have mastered the knowledge, skills and abilities to operate at a high level of expertise in the field of legal management.

To schedule online, first-time test takers must create a Pearson VUE web account. Since ALA exams are coordinated through HumRRO you will be asked for your HumRRO ID# provided to you by ALA. Please note that account creation may require up to 24 hours. You will be notified by e-mail when your account is activated.
Appointments may be made in advance up to one business day before the exam, subjective to availability.
Rescheduling Your CLM Exam
To reschedule your exam for another test date, you must contact ALA and all fees must paid in advance. Contact www.alanet.org/contact.asp or 847.267.1252 between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday – Friday.
