As the global IT industry association, CompTIA builds vendor-neutral certifications that measure foundational skills. They show employers you have the skills to do the job, regardless of the vendor of the hardware or software product. Many of these exams are also prerequisites or electives for more advanced vendor certifications. It really is the starting point for a career in IT. Plus, earning a certification not only proves you have the right skills, but also the dedication and commitment to your career to continue learning.
Currently, CompTIA offers certifications in IT helpdesk/remote support, networking, security, servers, cloud computing, mobility, project management, technical training, Linux, storage, digital imaging and management, and healthcare IT. Don’t miss your opportunity. CompTIA is looking for IT professionals to participate in the Server+ beta exam (SK1-004). Those who pass the exam will become Server+ certified at the time the final exam launches, in the last quarter of 2015 or the first quarter in 2016.
IT professionals with 18–24 months of work experience in server administration, storage, security, networking, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting are strongly encouraged to participate in this beta.

The exam is only available to the first 400 test takers. To sign up:
- Select “View exams” in the right-hand menu
- Expand “CompTIA Server+”
- Select “SK1-004 CompTIA Server+ Certification Beta Exam”
- Schedule the exam at your earliest convenience

The CompTIA Mobile App Security+ ADR & iOS (ADR-001 & iOS-001) Certification exams will be retiring on June 26, 2015.
CompTIA will not replace these exams. Therefore, anyone studying for these exams is encouraged to complete their studies and seek certification prior to the retirement date. Exam vouchers already purchased for these exams will be valid through June 26, 2015. Exam vouchers not used by the retirement date will expire and become void.
Although the exam will retire and CompTIA will no longer offer this exam in the future, anyone who has received the certification will remain CompTIA Mobile AppSecurity+ ADR & iOS certified.

You do not need a voucher to schedule a CompTIA exam. Members and non-members can register on line using a credit card.
CompTIA requires the candidate to review the CompTIA Candidate Agreement prior to beginning an exam. The candidate will be allowed fifteen minutes.
CompTIA exam vouchers are available for purchase through the CompTIA Marketplace or the Pearson VUE Voucher Store. If a certification requires more than one exam, multiple vouchers will need to be purchased.
