Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS)

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) contracted with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson for the development, administration, and scoring of the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS). The purpose of the ILTS program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Illinois have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Illinois public schools.

Visit the Illinois Licensure Testing System website to register, pay for your exam, and schedule, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability may vary.
