To access your new National Registry of Food Safety Professionals account, click Forgot my username and provide the required information, then your new username will be displayed on-screen. Next, click “Forgot my password” and complete the steps to access your new National Registry of Food Safety Professionals account.

National Registry of Food Safety Professionals develops certification programs for food safety professionals. Industry professionals who should consider these programs include wait staff, chefs, cooks, bartenders, hosts and hostesses, food manufacturers and supervisory personnel, such as the general manager or managers.

NRFSP offers accredited food safety certifications for restaurant, food service, and grocery store professionals. Choose a certification below to learn more about exam requirements, eligibility, and available resources.

Non-Disclosure and Code of Conduct Agreement

You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the NRFSP Non-Disclosure and Code of Conduct Agreements onscreen before you will be able to schedule an appointment to take the International Certified Food Safety Manager Exam. Please take a moment to review the terms of the Non-Disclosure Agreement (PDF, 37 KB) and the Code of Conduct Agreement (PDF, 277 KB). If you choose not to accept these terms, you will not be allowed to schedule your exam.

Scheduling

Please recognize National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) as the client when registering. When creating your Pearson web account, you will be asked to provide your NRFSP ID. This ID is created by Pearson. If you are a first-time test-taker, you will not yet have a NRFSP ID and you should leave this field blank.

Be sure of your exam date when scheduling

If you wish to cancel your exam, you must contact Pearson 24 hours prior to your exam appointment. Canceling or rescheduling an exam less than 24 hours prior to the exam appointment is not permitted. Not appearing for your exam appointment will result in the forfeit of all exam fees.
