Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments^® (AEPA^®)

The Arizona Department of Education contracted with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson for the development, administration, and scoring of the Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessment^® (AEPA^®). The purpose of the AEPA^® program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Arizona have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Arizona public schools.

Visit the AEPA website to register, pay for your exam, and schedule, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability may vary.
