AiSP Qualified Information Security Professional (QISP®) Programme
The Association of Information Security Professional (AiSP) launched the Qualified Information Security Professional (QISP®) programme in 2010. The aim is to support the development of personnel in the demanding information security profession.
About the QISP® examination
The QISP® programme is for information security professionals with one to five years of working experience in Singapore. It is a two-hour and forty minutes online examination with 100 multiple-choice and multiple-answer questions in English. The domains covered are part of AiSP’s Information Security Body of Knowledge (IS BOK) 2.0, please click here to refer to the domains.
While there is no prerequisite for candidates taking the QISP® examination, the candidates are strongly encouraged to have,
- One to five years of working experience in information security; or,
- Formal training in cyber security in an educational institute; or,
- Professional certification in information security, please refer to this link for details.
Please register for the online examination with Pearson VUE. Please note that candidates who wish to retake the examination would have a cooling period before they can book for the next examination. Please refer to AiSP’s website on the FAQs.
Cancellation or Reschedule
If you need to cancel or reschedule your examination booking, please do so 24 hours before your scheduled timing. For instance, you need to reschedule your booking in the booking system by 1 January 2021 if you have booked your examination for 2 January 2021. Your examination fee in full may be forfeited if Pearson VUE did not receive your instruction for cancellation or reschedule before the stipulated deadline. Please contact Pearson VUE customer service if you have any query.

The QISP® training based on AiSP’s IS BOK 2.0 which leverages its predecessor BOK 1.0. The first version was jointly developed by AiSP and the Institute of Systems Science, a specialist IT training institute of the National University of Singapore. “QISP” is a registered trademark owned by AiSP.
