Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP)
The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) has partnered with Pearson VUE to deliver computer-based certification examinations. The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) sets the standard for the certification of occupational health and safety professionals in Canada to create the healthiest and safest workplaces in the world. Since 1976, BCRSP has awarded the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)® certification to qualified individuals who have met minimum education and experience requirements and demonstrated their competency in occupational health and safety by successfully completing the CRSP® Examination (CRSPEX). In 2018, the BCRSP introduced the CRST® certification to support the evolving needs of industry.

BCRSP Examination Fees
- CRST Examination - $175 plus any applicable tax by Province.
- CRSP Examination - $175 plus any applicable tax by Province until December 31, 2024
- CRSP Examination - $200 plus any applicable tax by Province commencing January 1, 2025.

Certification Application & Scheduling Information
Before scheduling an examination appointment, you must have already:
- Applied for either the CRSP or CRST certification through BCRSP;
- Been notified of your eligibility to sit for the examination and received the Examination Authorization Letter from BCRSP
