The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters Certification Testing examinations

The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, under the guidance of the Education and Training Committee and Council, have developed professional qualifications. These qualifications provide employers, clients and colleagues with immediate confidence in your competence.

The examinations are provided exclusively as computerised tests.

Additional support and access needs

CILA welcomes entries from all students and is committed to supporting those who may require additional support or have access needs (including for in-person assessments). Appropriate arrangements may be provided based on individual requirements. These include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Adjustable contrast (text and background)
• Adjustable font size
• Adjustable workstation
• Extra time 
• Separate room
• Separate room with reader and/or recorder
