The unique and global collaboration was created out of a shared commitment and belief that the industry requires an international standard of education and professional excellence. The DEC Institute is open to onboard academic and industry members interested in further shaping and leading the development of the blockchain profession globally.
DEC Institute has partnered with Pearson VUE, a global leader in the administration of rigorous testing for professional certifications, to allow candidates to access the charter examination either in one of Pearson VUE's about 20'000 test centers worldwide or Pearson's OnVUE live proctored solution. DEC has also partnered with edX.org to launch decentralized, preparatory courses for the CDAA® and CBA® exams. All digital certificates are issued over the Accredible platform and are hashed to the Bitcoin blockchain.
DEC charter holders earn the right to use the CDAA® and CBA® designation after passing the examination with Pearson VUE and completing the membership registration. A membership at DEC will allow professionals and job seekers to access the network of certified professionals, academic and industry members, as well as to stay in tune with what’s happening in the industry and the latest development practices.

Should you take your exam online?
Testing online with the OnVUE system is flexible, convenient and easy — but there are unique requirements you should be familiar with. For example, you’ll need a private, distraction-free space to take the exam. A system test will show if your computer and internet are sufficient. And you’ll be monitored by proctors and assistive AI tools during the test. Weigh your options »
