Ping Identity (recently merged with ForgeRock) offers world-class certifications designed to validate and recognize IT professionals with the technical capabilities and real-world experience needed to effectively design, deploy, and manage Ping Identity technology based identity solutions.

Certification Offerings

Certified Professional - PingAM (PT-AM-CPE)

The Certified Professional – PingAM exam is targeted at IT professionals responsible for administering and deploying PingAM solutions. The exam validates your ability to install, configure, administer, troubleshoot and maintain components of PingAM.

• The exam consists of 100 questions that must be completed in 120 minutes.
• Questions are multiple choice.
• You must achieve a minimum score of 66% to pass.

There are several requirements you should meet before attempting the exam:

• Successful completion of the PingAM Deep Dive (AM-410) course
• Successful completion of the PingAM: Customization and APIs (AM-421) course will also be of benefit to exam candidates
• Thorough understanding of PingAM (AM-410), including all Access Management documentation and Knowledge Base articles on Backstage
• 3-6 months of experience installing and configuring PingAM
• Working knowledge of Java based environments

Certified Professional - PingIDM (PT-IDM-CPE)

The Certified Professional - PingIDM exam is targeted at IT professionals responsible for administering and deploying PingIDM (formerly known as ForgeRock Identity Management) solutions. The exam validates your ability to install, configure, administer, troubleshoot and maintain components of PingIDM.

• The exam consists of 100 questions that must be completed in 120 minutes.
• Questions are multiple choice.
• You must achieve a minimum score of 66% to pass.

There are several requirements you should meet before attempting the exam:

• Successfully complete the PingIDM Deep Dive (IDM-420)
• Thorough understanding of PingIDM (IDM-420) course, including all Identity Management documentation and Knowledge Based articles on Backstage
• 3-6 months of experience installing and configuring PingIDM
• Working knowledge of JSON, JavaScript, REST, Java, Groovy, SQL and LDAP

Certified Professional - PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (FRX-IC-CPE)

The Certified Professional - PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud exam is for IT professionals responsible for administering deployments of the PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (formerly known as the ForgeRock Identity Cloud). The exam validates your ability to configure, administer, troubleshoot and maintain components of PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud tenants.

• The exam consists of 60 questions that must be completed in 90 minutes.
• Questions are multiple choice.
• You must achieve a minimum score of 65% to pass.

There are several requirements you should meet before attempting the exam:

• Successfully complete the AIC-330 – Getting Started with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud for Administrators course
• Thorough understanding of the AIC-330 course, including all Identity Management documentation and Knowledge Based articles on Backstage
• 3-6 months of experience configuring and installing Advanced Identity Cloud tenants
• Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML v2.0

Certification Exam Registration

The exam registration process begins at at our Learning Portal as all Ping Identity certification exams require prior Ping Identity authorization. Once authorized, you will be directed to Pearson VUE to book and pay for your exam. If this is your first time taking a Ping certification exam, please create a new web account using the Candidate ID provided in order to schedule the exam that you have been authorized to take. This is required even if you have taken other certification exams at Pearson VUE and have an existing account.
