UST/AST exams use two-digit exam codes. If your code has three digits, go to the Contractor/Trades page.

UST/AST has its own account, separate from Contractor/Trades, so you’ll need a username and password just for this program.

How to schedule your exam

1. Create an ICC account. You need an account on ICC’s website before you can buy an exam.
2. Buy your exam from the ICC Store. UST/AST exams are sold only through ICC.
3. Schedule your test center appointment. Once you’ve bought your exam, select Continue to log in above to schedule, reschedule or cancel. You’ll be taken to ICC’s website to start.

Before you test

Read your exam information. Before you schedule, read the information for your exam in ICC’s Certification Exam Catalog. It’s your responsibility to understand it.

Check that your name matches your ID. Your account must use your legal name exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. The name and personal details in your account will appear on your exam documents and on any reports sent to your licensing agency. If anything is wrong, contact ICC right away to fix it.
