Indian Testing Board Certification Testing
Indian Testing Board (ITB) is a national board approved by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). Responsible for the "ISTQB-Certified-Tester" Certification in India, the ITB was founded in February 2004 and granted permission two months later. ITB has issued over 88, 000 certification till December 2016.
Officially founded in Edinburgh in November 2002, the International Testing Qualifications Board is responsible for the "ISTQB Certified Tester", an international qualification scheme. The qualifications of the scheme are based on a syllabus. An examination is conducted, covering the syllabus. The contents of every syllabus are taught by training providers, accredited by ITB. ISTQB Foundation Level
Foundation level aims at all the individual who are involved in Software Testing & at those who are eager to acquire basic knowledge of fundamentals of Software Testing.

ISTQB Agile Ext.
Agile testing is a relatively new approach to software testing that follows the principles of agile software development as outlined in the Agile Manifesto.
To be eligible to undertake the Agile Tester Foundation Extension certification exam, candidates must first hold the ISTQB® Foundation Certificate.

ISTQB Advance levels
The Advanced Level qualification is aimed at people who have achieved an advanced point in their careers in software testing.
To receive Advanced Level certification, candidates must hold the Foundation Certificate and satisfy the Exam Board which examines them that they have sufficient practical experience to be considered Advanced Level qualified.
Advanced level is valid for life time. Refer to the relevant Exam Board to understand their specific practical experience criteria.
Registration & Scheduling
Candidates interested in taking any of the ITB certifications must register first with ITB through their website and then schedule their exam through Pearson VUE.
