Lenovo offers certifications and credentials to validate a candidate’s knowledge and expertise with Lenovo solutions and technologies.

How To Register For An Exam

Sign in or Create an Account with Pearson VUE. Use your legal name as displayed on your government issued IDs. Login to your account, select an exam, and enter your payment method.

FOR PROCTORED EXAMS: Select a location and appointment time, Candidates have the option to take proctored exams at Pearson VUE test centers or through OnVUE (online proctored). Please note, online proctoring is not available in the following countries: China, Cuba, Iran, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

LENOVO BUSINESS PARTNER: You must use your business email address and full company name to ensure that your credential counts toward your company’s partner requirements.

LENOVO EMPLOYEE: You must include your assigned Lenovo email address and enter “Lenovo” as your company name when creating an account so that certifications earned can be added to your Grow@​Lenovo transcript.

Lenovo Certification Program Agreement

All certification candidates are required to accept and agree to the terms of the Lenovo Certification Program Candidate Agreement before taking a certification exam. Lenovo encourages candidates to download and carefully review the agreement before taking an exam.

Lenovo reserves the right to revoke your certification if you breach the terms of the agreement. Read the agreement.

Retake Policy

There is no waiting period to retake an exam a second time. However, if you do not pass on your second attempt, there is a 30-day waiting period before taking the exam a third time. There is no discount for retake exams; the full published fee applies. Retaking a passed certification exam is prohibited. Exams that do not comply with the retake policy will be invalidated and any related certification will be revoked.

Lenovo Certification Exam Preparation

The exams are computer-based assessments of knowledge and skills. As preparation for Lenovo certification exams, please utilize the exam preparation training.

Lenovo Business Partners can access the training in Lenovo Partner Learning.

From your homepage in Lenovo Partner Learning (LPL), select Catalog in the navigation menu on the left side. Then select Certifications/Credentials under Catalogs. Select the Learning Program that corresponds to the exam you plan to take.

Lenovo Employees can access the training in Grow@Lenovo.

Welcome E-mail, Certificate Access, Digital Badge

  • If you pass your exam and meet all requirements for a credential, you will receive an e-mail from Lenovo within 72 business hours with instructions to access your certificate, logo and digital badge through the Lenovo certification tracking system called CertMetrics.
  • Important Note: CertMetrics is a separate system from Pearson VUE and provides access to your history, certificates, badges, and logos.

How To Change Your Name in an Existing Account

If you plan to take a proctored exam and the name in your existing Pearson VUE account does not match your legal name on your government issued ID, please contact Pearson VUE customer service. The agent will explain the process and where to send the required documentation for a name change. Please allow 5 business days for this process.
