Exam Scheduling
After RAPS approves your application, you will be sent an authorization to test (ATT) email from Pearson VUE. For Testing Center appointments, we recommend scheduling your exam as soon as possible as appointments fill up quickly. First-time test takers must create a Pearson VUE web account. If you intend to schedule an appointment, click the "Log in" or "Create an account" button at the top.
After scheduling your exam, you will be sent a confirmation email from Pearson VUE providing details about your appointment.
Exam Transferring
A request to transfer to a future testing window may be made by contacting RAPS. Only two transfers are permitted. For example, if you transfer from the spring to the summer window, that is one transfer. If you transfer from the spring to the autumn window, that is two transfers.
Transfers made after the application deadline will incur a transfer fee. Transfers will not be permitted after the final day of the testing window. After two transfers, you will be required to re-apply and pay the full application fee.
For candidates seeking transfers because of an emergency, consult the Emergency Situations section of the Candidate Guide.
Online Demo Test
The Pearson VUE demo test provides the opportunity for candidates to learn how to navigate their way through a computer-based exam. The demo test can be accessed using this link: PearsonVUE.com/us/en/test-takers/demo-test.html
Cancel Exam
To cancel your application, submit a written request to RAPS before the application deadline and prior to any transfers. Candidates are ineligible for refunds if they transfer. There is an administrative fee for canceled applications. Requests to cancel after the application deadline will be rejected.
