Nacha oversees the ACH Network, enabling Direct Deposits and Payments to all U.S. bank and credit union accounts.

Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)
The Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) exam, sponsored by Nacha, is coordinated through Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO). Obtaining the AAP accreditation demonstrates a commitment to understanding and excelling in electronic payments, with an emphasis on topics related to the ACH Network.
Examination Registration
Before scheduling your exam at a Person VUE testing center, you must have already
- Registered for the AAP exam with Nacha
- Received your Authorization to Test email from Nacha
Examination Test Window
- Monday, October 7 – Saturday, November 2, 2024
Examination Scheduling Information
Candidates will have three (3.0) hours to complete the examination.
To schedule online, you must first create a Pearson VUE web account. Please note that account creation may require up to 24 hours. You will be notified by email when your account is activated.
To schedule your exam, you will need your HumRRO ID# from your Authorization to Test email provided by Nacha. You may schedule your exam up to one business day in advance of the scheduled examination date. We highly suggest you register as soon as possible as test centers fill fast.
You will need to bring a government issued picture ID, including a signature, as well as EITHER your confirmation email from Pearson VUE or your Authorization to Test email to the testing center. You are not permitted to bring personal belongings (such as hat, coats, cell phones or purses) into the testing room.
Cancellation

Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP)
The Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP) exam, sponsored by Nacha and the U.S. Faster Payments Council, is coordinated through the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO). Obtaining the AFPP accreditation demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of instant payment methods in the U.S., an understanding of and experience with faster payments network rails, and a broad knowledge of concepts related to the payments system.
Examination Registration
Before scheduling your exam at a Person VUE testing center, you must have already
- Registered for the AFPP exam with Nacha
- Received your Authorization to Test email from Nacha
Examination Test Window
- Monday, February 17 – Saturday, March 8, 2025
Examination Scheduling Information
Candidates will have three (3.0) hours to complete the examination.
To schedule online, you must first create a Pearson VUE web account. Please note that account creation may require up to 24 hours. You will be notified by email when your account is activated.
To schedule your exam, you will need your HumRRO ID# from your Authorization to Test email provided by Nacha. You may schedule your exam up to three business days before the close of the exam window.
Please bring a government-issued picture ID, including a signature, and either your confirmation email from Pearson VUE or your Authorization to Test email to the testing center. Personal belongings such as hats, coats, cell phones, and purses are not permitted in the testing room.

Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP)
The Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) exam, sponsored by Nacha, is coordinated through Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO). Obtaining the APRP accreditation demonstrates that you have mastered the complexities of risk management for ACH, check, wire, debit, credit and prepaid cards, and emerging and alternative payments.
Examination Registration
Before scheduling your exam at a Person VUE testing center, you must have already
- Registered for the APRP exam with Nacha
- Received your Authorization to Test email from Nacha
Examination Test Window
- Monday, August 5 – Saturday, August 31, 2024

To schedule online, you must first create a Pearson VUE web account. Please note that account creation may require up to 24 hours. You will be notified by email when your account is activated.
