Zscaler Certification offers industry-leading cyber security certifications designed to validate knowledge and abilities of security professionals engaging with the Zscaler Zero Trust platform.

Know Zero Trust or want to learn more about Zero Trust? Get to know the power of the Zscaler Zero Trust platform and how it propels digital transformation, but also how it can propel your career in the cyber security industry.

The registration process is the same for all exams, but all certifications have unique pre-requisites. As the security landscape is ever-changing so are our growing offerings to support the Zscaler career journey.

Zscaler offers two methods of exam delivery: in-person at Pearson VUE Authorized Test Centers and online via the OnVUE platform. Both options can be scheduled through  your Pearson VUE web account.

Proctored Exams at Test Centers

Zscaler Certification exams can be taken in a proctored environment at Pearson VUE Authorized Test Centers. Appointments must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and can be rescheduled or canceled up to 48 hours prior through your Pearson VUE account.  Failure to reschedule or cancel 48 hours prior will result in a no-show and a forfeiture of exam fees.

Online Proctored Exams (OnVUE)

Zscaler exams can also be taken remotely through the OnVUE delivery platform. Visit Zscaler’s OnVUE page to learn more about the operating system, technical, and testing space requirements to determine if OnVUE is right for you. OnVUE appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled any time before your scheduled appointment time through your Pearson VUE account. When cancelled prior to start time, you can reschedule with no payment penalty or forfeiture of fees. No-shows will result in a forfeiture of exam fees.

Zscaler and Pearson VUE are proud of their ongoing commitment to uphold the integrity of Zscaler certifications. Zscaler policy prohibits individuals residing in the embargoed territories of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region, and Sudan, from taking a Zscaler exam or from becoming certified. For further information on exam and test center policies, please visit the Zscaler Certification: Frequently Asked Questions.

All exams are computer scored immediately upon exam completion. Candidates may request a paper copy of the "Exam Score Report" if testing at an exam center and before departing the exam center. This report provides a "provisional score," not a final score. The final score is transmitted to the candidate’s Zscaler Cyber Academy account only after a statistical analysis is conducted on the exam. This analysis identifies security issues including the use of non-approved materials to prepare for the exam. If a security issue is discovered the candidate will receive an email notification stating their exam results have been invalided.

Zscaler Certification recommends all candidates thoroughly review course materials and study guides prior to registering for or attempting the certification exam(s). For a complete list of topics covered by the exam(s) and sample questions, please refer to the exam blueprint and study guide for your desired exam. All of this can be found at Zscaler Certification.

Regardless of who pays for the exam, you, the exam candidate, own the results. Your exam history is linked to your Zscaler Candidate ID number granted the first time you create a Pearson VUE account. You should never create another one. If you change employers or need to update your contact information, you must send an email to certification@zscaler.com and they will assist you in updating your records.
