The best preparation for certification exams is practical experience. We recommend six months to two years of hands-on experience using AWS. We also offer training and materials to help you prepare.

To register for an exam, sign in to aws.training and click Certification in the top navigation. Next, click AWS Certification Account, followed by Schedule New Exam.

Candidates ages 13-17 are permitted to take AWS Certification exams with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. For more details, please see the AWS Certification FAQ page, under the “About AWS Certification” tab.
