Oklahoma Real Estate Commission

Oklahoma Real Estate

IMPORTANT: OREC has authorized you for all examinations required in order to obtain licensure. You must take BOTH portions (state and national) of the examination, unless otherwise instructed by the Commission. The specific exams that you must pass may be found in your profile when you sign into your account.

Applicants may obtain a 2 for 1 discount on the exam price by scheduling examinations on the same order (both examinations should be in the cart). These exams do not need to be taken on the same day, or the same location, or back-to-back to obtain the discount. They only need to be placed on the same order and paid for at the same time. Please see the handbook, link below, for more information about requirements, exams and scheduling.

Exam scheduling information

All examinations to become an Oklahoma real estate licensee require application to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. To learn more about other requirements to obtain licensure with the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, visit the Commission's How to Obtain a License webpage. Once the application is approved by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, the candidate will be given authorization to test via email notification from Pearson VUE.

Applicants must VERIFY that they have registered their LEGAL name as it appears on their government issued-ID and that all other personal information is CORRECT at registration. Contact the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission at help@orec.ok.gov or 405-521-3387 to correct the spelling of your name or to update your personal information, if necessary.

Appointments to test may be made up to 24 hours prior to the desired test date, subject to availability.

Real Estate Practice Tests

Pearson VUE offers Broker and Sales practice tests for $19.95. The tests include questions on general real estate topics. The tests are developed using concepts found in the general portion of the actual exam and cover areas such as product knowledge, terms, and concepts.
