Note: After three failed attempts, additional qualifying inspector education must be completed as follows: Property and Building Inspection Module I (40 hours) OR Property and Building Inspection Module II (40 hours) for the National exam; Texas Law Module (20 hours) OR Texas Standard of Practice Module (24 hours) for the State exam. Upon completion of the additional education, please submit copies of the course completion certificates along with a copy of the third failed score report to TREC at documents@​trec.​texas.​gov. Allow 5-7 business days for processing and re-authorization to be submitted to Pearson to allow you to re-schedule the exam.
