Exam appointments may be made in advance or on the day you wish to test, subject to availability. The exam/appointment testing time limit noted in the scheduling tool reflects the total appointment time, including an NDA, exam time, and survey.

Yes, you can take your IT Specialist exam conveniently from home through OnVUE online proctoring. A live proctor will monitor you through the webcam on your workstation to provide a secure exam experience.

  1. If you don’t receive a passing score on an exam the first time, you must wait 24 hours before retaking the exam.
  2. If you don’t receive a passing score on your second attempt, you must wait seven days before retaking the exam a third time.
  3. A seven-day waiting period is imposed between each subsequent exam retake.
  4. You may not take a given exam any more than five times per year/12-month period, which starts from your first attempt. If you take a given exam five times in that period, you will become eligible to retake the exam 12 months from the date of your first attempt.
